This canvas is inspired by Italian Mural Painting and Renaissance Art, the couple freezes through ages while waiting for something to come and forgetting to look at each other. They must be looking at the hidden future.
The vase is from past, the flowers are from present, the cat is a threat and the birds can be imprisoned or fly towards the world to come. It is an every moment story, carrying each time a different luggage.
The Modern World appeals for bodies, their freedom. Is it an illusion of beauty and independence or a weapon that hurts? Is public nudity, taking away its superficial clothes or true colors of Life?
